    I have owned warn winch’s for 30 years and they are awesome. That said I have 3 Badlands 12,000 pound winch’s 2 on heavy F-350’s and one on my goose neck to winch broken stuff up on the deck they have never failed me with the wired remote. The wireless remote on the other hand can give you problems.

    I’m not a big fan of the rope. I have found over the last 30 years of wheeling and recovery that wire rope will survive the abrasions over granite rocks ,trees etc. It will also outlast the rope in the battle of sun and test of time.

    I’m not in love with it either (ACC) I’m going to armor it a bit more. It’s mounted now to a 1/4” plate now I’m thinking adding another 1/2-3/4” around the sensor but there’s really no good way to mount it?
