BAMF would have to confirm what coating it has on it. It's not bad, but I thought it was going to be powder coated as that is how they advertise it on their website.

Like many here, I went with a simple extender (9" long with a 2" rise). Worked out really well and is extremely solid with the one and two bike options. The single bike option is barely noticeable in the backup camera.

^^^ what he said. My dealership had some difficulties with it. When I went to buy my bronco, they showed my rebate in Smart Vincent ($975 I believe) but that was it. I showed them the Ford Q&A section that detailed the total amount that I was supposed to receive and they said they knew nothing...
