I have the 2.3. Yes, the winch mounts directly to the bash plate, which is different than the RC where the winch mounts to a plate, and then the bash plate is separate. As far as how secure it is, that is to be determined.

Iām running the AC Fab disconnects. Iām seriously thinking of just removing the sway bar entirely. Went to the Bronco Safari, disconnected the sway bar for Top of the World, and I havenāt reconnected it yet. Including the drive home, Iāve put on 1500 miles, and it handles just fine.
