Same two for me now. I was eyeing Area 51 but don't think it's for me. Too dark. I think I'll stick with the MIC gray hardtop... Should compliment both colors ways pretty nicely.
There are 8 of us on the list so far.
I will reach out to York Ford early next week and get the conversation started on the feasibility of a group buy and what, if anything, they'd be willing to do for a deal. I'll say we have 10 or so buyers currently interested. That number may just be...
Yup. If Ford offers this type of financing on the Broncos them I'm all in at 48 months. Hell, even 60 months at 1.9% is solid. My local credit union who I've financed all of my vehicles through is usually the lowest rate I can find and they're showing 2.4% right now.
Right there with you. The last car I purchased was $11k. The most expensive car I've ever purchased was our GTI and that was $28k. I felt like a crazy person when the wife and I signed the papers. Granted, that's her car, but we have a pooled account for payments so I have eyes on the monthly...
I created a Google Sheet that we can fill out to keep track of everyone that's interested in the New England group buy. Here's the link.
@Parrett - feel free to add this link to your opening post for visibility. I've never created a publicly editable Google Sheet so please let me know if you run...
Thanks a lot, Albert! You really are head and shoulders above the rest... I just wish you weren't 1,300 miles away, otherwise you'd 100% have my order.
I'm interested. Currently reserved at York Ford in Saugus.
Any idea what type of deal we'd be looking to negotiate? Or what's typical for a group buy scenario? This is all new to me as well. I would hope for something like invoice w/X-Plan honored or maybe even $1,000 or so below invoice...
For me, it’s really just the heated seats. The lane keep and other driver nanny’s I could do without. The remote start is a nice to have, as is the ambient lighting and dimming mirrors and stuff. But really, if I could option heated seats for a few hundred dollars as a stand-alone option I’d do...
Thanks!
If we can make the 1up work with the Bronco then that's probably the route I'll go. I only need to be able to hold 2 bikes. The backstage really gets out of the way which is why it piqued my interest. We'll see. I've always wanted a hitch mounted, tray style rack and the Bronco will be...
I ride an Ibis Ripmo and a Diamondback Haanjo Trail.
Been eyeing the Rockymounts backstage swing away rack for the Bronco. Both of the roof mounted racks on my Sportwagen are Rockymounts and they’ve been nothing short of great for 4 seasons. Anyone know of other hitch mounted, tray style racks...
Granger is doing $1,300 off invoice? I just checked their website and it's still showing $1,000. Regardless, I'm still considering switching to them. Once the build configurator goes live in September and we can see what our all-in price totals then I'll make the dealer decision.
I'm also really hoping for low-mid 20s with the 2.3L with 10 speed auto on the 32" Grabbers. I imagine you'll see a pretty big mpg hit on the 35s in Sasquatch form. The 2.3L ecoboost Explorer with AWD is rated at 27 mpg highway / 20 city. Obviously more tire on the Bronco, even in non-Sasquatch...
Got a response from York Ford in Saugus, MA on the X-plan.
"Ford has not said much to us about pricing programs, but I would assume that as long as Ford does establish x-plan prices for these vehicles, we will be able to use them."
I'm still holding out hope that these guys won't push me to...
I really like the look of the 35s, and the addition of the front locker and Bilstein's on the Squatch package would be nice to haves, but I have a feeling the Squatch package is going to price me out of what I want to pay. I can't compromise on the mid package (need heated seats) or auto trans.
Wife wants to be able to drive this thing and although she can drive a stick, she's not very comfortable with it. Especially in a larger vehicle (our last manual was a Subaru STI)
I don't know that 35s are necessary for my use case. No rock crawling or serious off roading planned. Lots of...
