I have owned over 40 vehicles, from a Ford escort to a BMW. last few were a 2020, 2019, and 2018 JLUR. a 2017 Grand Cherokee Trailhawk, multiple Toyota Siena SEs, a Trailblazer SS, a few Mustang GTs.
my current vehicle is my 2020 JLUR.
Awesome, thanks for checking on this. I spend a lot of time offroad and on long trips to go offroad. my JLUR is miserable for anyone in the back seats so really hoping the Bronco reclines a bit. the bottom seat cushion is also an issue, but most seem to really dislike the rear seat angle more...
after spending 10 hours in the AZ heat today we have firmly decided that the lack of console vents has to be a deal breaker for me. even in the JLUR with console vents, and front vents pointed back our daughter was cooking in back. when it is over 110 for months at a time, rear air is a must...
Here in AZ, even with my JLUR with rear vents my kids are getting cooked after 6 hours on trail in back. That is with floor and center console vents. As much as I love the Bronco, lack of cooling to the rear will be a big issue for me. I may have to wait for the Ranger Raptor to replace my...
Was not planning to go that route, but looks like it is the new plan. I actually have a cash buyer for the JLUR lined up, but with the ordering issues I plan to keep it until the new one comes is. A year with no 4x4 is also a little longer than I thought. So not all that upset, but would have...
Have been trying to place order since launch. Multiple times a day, on multiple different devices. I get to the payment part, hit pay, and it gets stuck in a loop where it goes back to the payment first step. No matter what I do I can't get it to actually accept the reservation when I finish the...
If near MO or Arkansas I'm in. I ordered 3 JLURs from The Little Rock area while living here in AZ. I actually prefer buying out of state. My 2020 JLUR has a buyer, so ready to order as soon as it is possible.
YES! I played that and where in the world is Carmen sandiego for hours and hours. Kids today will never know the fun of swapping floppy drives for a game lol.
I am not looking for a regular TJ, I want a LJ and those are much fewer in numbers. A LJ Rubicon was only built for 2 years, so even smaller numbers. The ones available here are in great shape due to lack of rust, and also drives the number higher. I looked for almost a year, and when they would...
My younger brother has had even more at this point I think. I slowed down quite a bit in the last 10 years, he has sped up. He is really big into Rat rods and old cars. I think he has 4 or 5 of those right now. He just sold a Tesla, and that was amazing, between us we are close to 100 cars, many...
I have had over 40 vehicles as of now, in the last few years I have had:
2006 impala, (bought new, our backup car)
2013 Sienna SE,
2015 Sienna SE,
2017 Grand Cherokee Trailhawk,
2018 Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon,
2019 Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon,
2020 Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon.
In the past I had...
I wanted a TJ (actually LJ) and looked for a while for a nice one. Here the nice ones were going for 25k or more, so at that price I gave up and bought a JL. If I ever find a nice one for under 15k I'll buy it for a dedicated trail rig, but not much hope for that.
What other thread? Unfortunately there are so many updates right now I may have missed something, I work from home, and can be at KOH location in a few hours lol. If next week will show something there I'll be there.
I have a group I host called four corners off-road adventures for the same reasons. I wanted a group for anyone to join that is less of the bro culture I see in some groups. Again like you mention most have Jeeps, but not all for sure. Living in AZ there are also a lot of Raptors etc.
I am actually surprised at the Jeep culture. It is very much 50/50, some are fine, but some are horrible.
There is a Facebook group for Off-road, called AZ Jeepers. A member recently sold their jeep and bought a 4Runner, people are telling them to leave the group as it is called "jeepers" for a...
As someone who had their 2018 bought back due to the frame welds, their 2019 bought back due to steering issues, and their 2020 having a recall due to front axle lower control arm mount missing a weld I can attest to a perceived lack of QC with the JL lol. I have been counting down the days...
