That's fair.
I'm more of the mind that these are badass tires and should be amazing this winter. I'll definitely post about it if they are either amazing or total crap this winter in the snow. lol
Call me crazy, but I don't really believe there's a need to change anything for winter use. Drive slower, be safe and sane, and use the tech that's there, no?
Use 4WD when the sign says Chains or 4WD Required. 4H or 4L (or 4A) as desired/required. Lock the rear differential when it's really slippery, maybe the front too if you're not getting anywhere in the deep(er) snow. I drove my front wheel drive with all season radials in most snow conditions...
FWIW, I had an enormous amount of bug splatter on my windshield from a road trip before I put this on my Bronco. And now I get almost no bugs on the road. It really is functional and looks good. I was a little worried about the prep on the hood damaging the paint, but it's under the aeroskin and...
65, 2 Door Badlands Sasquatch with roof rack and some mods done and more on the way. If the girlfriend's kid wants to come along, he (and a buddy or gf) can climb into the back. Probably will get a roof carrier for longer road trips and already have a trailer hitch mounted bike rack. Mine is...
I’m getting 20.3 mpg average so far. I use Eco on highways but now I need to compare with Normal mode to see if it’s really saving anything. Ha
2023 Badlands Squatch, 2.7L stock, 3k miles.
Badlands Squatch, going to use the roof rack for skiis soon, and carrier. Drove a 4-door at Bronco Off Roadeo in Nevada and was thinking how great it would’ve been to drive a 2-door instead!
Watching this thread. I'm just starting to add accessories. But I got a tow hitch extension with a black diamond plate on it from Harbor Freight so that I can put my hitch mount bike rack on and not interfere with the spare tire. It'll be a great seat for changing in/out of ski boots, and it...
I think you did great. Similar to mine and I love it. Mine is a skiing rig, with some fun off road adventures as well. Mine has the roof rack and I bought a ski/board attachment for the rack.
Have fun out there!
That's fair. Mine was already on order by the dealer and came in within a few weeks. There was no price increase over the MSRP, nor was the window sticker any different and I had locked it down with a deposit.
Talk to Elk Grove Ford in Northern CA. They were completely honest with me and we agreed (via text) to MSRP + tax on my Bronco. The whole process was painless.
My Badlands was MSRP (+tax and fees out the door). With Sasquatch and High Package. You just have to keep looking for the dealers who don't play the markup game. I might have offered something over invoice as was the case way back when, but I got into the mindset of MSRP is good enough.
Hi Gang. I got my Badlands a couple of weeks ago and have been having fun with it. Trying to learn all the features. Looking forward to my commute to local ski area this winter in the snow!
