Hey, the original Humvees were out of this world.. It’s when they started to add all the weight the awesome went out of them.. If taken care of well (good maintenance platoon) the humvess were movers through lots of territory.. Unfortunately, they did fit down the trails made by the M551 “Jeeps! 🤣

That is a super bumper.. Room for those darn winches and the air clearance for good cooling ….

My guess, it was stored on a gravel lot.. We have the same problem with anything we park for some duration on a gravel driveway back in Indiana. I forget what the material is that is in the fill that causes this condition .. Ask your dealer how it was stored upon arrival from the factory...

Im familiar with that Unobtanium… That’s what I experienced ordering 3 Ford Performance diff covers.. I received one initially and been waiting on Ford to investigate the missing two.. Then yesterday, the unobanium showed up at the door..

I live in Alaska. After two years of winters the oil barely gets above 180 F.. The 2.3 takes a lot longer to heat up than our 2.7 L Badland . The 2.7 L heats the coolant fairly quickly even down to -15. As far as moisture goes, adding a catch can to your PVC hose keeps the moisture down that...

Get a K&N drop in filter… Try that first…

I have these.. In two weeks time driving in Alaska each can filled with oily water.. About a 1/4 of fluid in each.. I will check them by the end of the month and see how much is collected..

Try replace the air filter with a drop in K&N filter.. May just need some more AIR…
