The goofy people don't bother me much. lol Live out outside of the town and "our" people are normal.
  2. Any Hurricane Utah residents on here?

Moab is better, but smaller town by a lot.
  3. While in 4L and rock crawling engine revs unexpectedly with no pedal input.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. Yes, I have the Ford tune, and yes it did it after the tune, I meant after the Ford transmission reprogramming done by the bulletin. After the transmission reprogramming it did it less, but it is not totally fixed. The rev match table still gives it too much throttle...
  4. While in 4L and rock crawling engine revs unexpectedly with no pedal input.

In 4 low manual it will still do it if you downshift. But if your are going down hill (or steps) you should have your foot near the brake anyway, not on the throttle. There is a Ford bulletin on it, but I had mine done over a year ago, so I don't know the number. It cuts the problem by about...
  5. While in 4L and rock crawling engine revs unexpectedly with no pedal input.

There was a technical bulletin on it with a fix, it helped, but did not totally fix it. Keep your foot near the brake.
  6. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿป‍๐Ÿ”ง๐Ÿงฐ๐Ÿšฟ๐Ÿ›

It has all the bells and whistles, including cruise control and an automatic. Smooth and quiet. Love it, even when it is only 50 degrees out. Heated seat and hand grips.

Got the Bronco a stablemate. 2025 Anniversary Edition with California Sidecar Trike conversion.
  8. Moab Trip - Thanksgiving 2025

OP, if you are on stock size tires and no lockers, I would not attempt Poison Spider. It has gotten rougher over the years. If you do try it, not far in is a difficult shelf area that will put your Bronco to the test. My 2 cents.

Get the Wells Moab Off Road 4x4 Book. Trails are rated and tells you how to run them. Very good.
  10. 2024 Bronco Badlands – Recurrent Sway Bar Disconnect Failure (Need Help/Advice)

There was a service bulletin on putting dielectric grease on the main connector at the sway bar. It may not be your problem, but it worked on mine. It has been almost 2 years without a fault. Good luck.
  11. Moab Trip -- looking for info on trail info

From Mineral Bottom to Zues and Moses there is sand, but nothing you would have a problem with. I haven't done the whole trail for a number of years, but the bike tour groups do it and their chase vehicle is a pick up truck, so I do not think you will have any problems. Air down 12 to 15 psi...
  12. Moab Trip -- looking for info on trail info

Recent rains have left some washouts, but nothing dangerous. Trail listed are easy and scenic. You should have not problems. I agree the Wells books are the best. If you are going to do Shafer trail from Potash, then I would do Mineral Bottom to go into the white rim trail from the other...

They continue to close trails and campsites. Support Blue Ribbon Coalition. They are working hard to keep trails open, and reopen closed trails.
  14. BFG ko2s vs copper sst pros

I can't compare since I have always used BFG on off road rigs. But the KO series (I also had the original KO on my Hummer) wears well, handles rock climbing, and the C range stays on the wheel even at 12 psi and flexes really well. I will put the KO3s on when I need new tires, but that won't...

Then we went exploring and found a new trail, I think it is called 7 Up. A loop off of 313 with some fun obstacles.
