Cactus Gray was an awesome color, possibly even my favorite that has been offered. I drove a Daytona Blue 350Z many moons ago, so I'd pass on Velocity Blue. I've never had a red car, so Ruby Red would be nice I guess...although it's not my favorite red, I want to like it more than I actually do...
Yes, neither is Eruption Green and Azure Gray - but they're still sitting on lots and can be found.
That said...Carbonized Gray is likely my absolute bottom pick, considering it's effectively the same color I've had for the last decade!
I'm in the market for my first ever Bronco and I've been really struggling to decide on what color to get. For the last 10 years, I have had TWO daily driver in Dodge's Granite Crystal Metallic (I had a Dodge Challenger in this color, and then moved into a Ram 1500 in the same exact color)...
Iām pretty much in this same boat. I just saw Marsh Gray and Desert Sand on the street over the last week or so and they both look good, but I wouldnāt call them exciting.
I actually did for the first time this past weekend. It definitely looks brown in person. Iāve bumped it up a notch on the list, but I was hoping for something lighter/brighter.
In the wake of Orange Fury being cancelled for Job 2, Iām struggling to decide on a back up color for my order. Orange Fury was the only color I truly āwantedā, while Iām kind of indifferent to the other 2026 offerings. Was hoping for a pop of color, and all we got was Red, Blue, and every...
I meant competitor from a purely class perspective. Regardless of sales numbers, the most similar vehicle to a Bronco is a Wrangler, and theyāre frequently shopped alongside each other.
I find most refreshes of retro-inspired cars to be bad. It's tough enough to make a modern car that looks retro. It's even tougher to then iterate on that design. I agree that the fifth gen Mustang facelift was odd. The 2014 facelift to the fifth gen Camaro was poor, especially the taillights...
If I were a betting man, I'd bet that was the closest thing to a refresh we'll see for a while. I mean, its closest competitor, the Jeep Wrangler, has looked basically identical for the last 20 years!
Are we expecting a refresh in 2027? The Drive had an article from February this year that said the Bronco was selling so well that Ford was not considering changing it yet.
Velocity Blue is like that generic navy blue metallic youād find on compact sedans trying to be sporty - nice for a Nissan Sentra, not so much on a Ford Bronco. I find Ruby Red to be pretty generic as well, but itās a bit more tolerable on a Bronco than VB.
Man, this might be the worst color...
Yes very lame. Iām not a huge fan of Velocity Blue, and while red looks nice, itās not really the color for me. I was in love with Orange Fury, so Iām super disappointed.
Iāll probably end up picking between Avalanche Grey and Desert Sand (leaning towards Avalanche).
I wasnāt doubting you, just wanted to verify you werenāt some rando spouting rumors. š
Youāre doing godās work. I had a feeling something was up with Orange Fury for a while, as there had been very little info on it outside of that one article announcing it and Ford adding it to the builder...
