Just to clarify, you applied the brush seal all the way across the top of the tailgate metal? I'd rather do something like this then use lube. I'd thought about using some kind of weather stripping but wasn't sure about it not sealing properly/leaking. Thx for the tip. Let me know...
Thx for all the input. I have a hardtop and am pretty sure its happening where the tailgate meets the rubber seal on the glass. I thought it seemed strange to lubricate the seal but l tried olive oil-random l know, but it was all l had. Lol. It made a small difference but I'll try a better...
I have a 2022 2 door Bronco and was wondering if anyone else gets a creaking sound from the very back(almost like the sound of sitting in a leather couch, but constant) at low speeds? I think I've narrowed it down to where the tailgate meets the glass but not 100% sure. Let me know if anyone...
Does anyone have a fix for what sounds like creaking coming from the back of my 2 door at slow speeds? It sounds like it might be where the rear window seal meets the tailgate but not sure.
Let me know,
Thx
Whichever Bronco anyone chooses is awesome. For me, l wanted the 12in screen, MGV or in my case leather and when l saw the blue interior l was sold. I never thought I'd get a car with blue interior but was all in after l saw it in person. The OBX may not be as capable as a Badlands, Wildtrack...
NOPE! And l have a family of 4. I grew up with bench seats in a 70's Landcruiser. If we made it work back then, it can work just fine now. And it does. Plus, the Bronco looks better the way it was originally made...a 2 door.
I've got 33in Terra Grapplers on stock Outer Banks wheels rolling at 34psi. I don't know anything different cuz they were put on before l took delivery-that said, they seem firm but over-all my 2dr rides pretty nice/smooth. Definitely lower your psi-at 34 psi my tires are wearing nicely...
It was the double honk for me too until l realized the recirculating air button has a timer and doesn't stay on until l turn it off. So, if I'm on the freeway l have to press it about every 3 minutes or I'm breathing California traffic fumes. Ridiculousness...
That sucks. I'm at 12k and the only thing that bugs me is this weird creaking sound coming from the back at slower speeds on rougher roads-can't figure that one out. Other than that, its been great!
Hi,
Is there any way to keep my recirculated air on for as long as l want it to stay on? Whenever l choose to have recirculated air activated it turns off after about 3 minutes which means I'm breathing freeway exhaust. I am really confused why it just doesn't stay on until l turn it off...
