Just had to give this thread a bump because I was inspired to give this sub a try after reading through this thread. The sub, combined with new 4" dash speakers is just night and day different from the stock system, and in my opinion, all most people need (I doubt I am going to touch the 6.5s...
It's definitely a compromise in my opinion as a soft top owner. On the other hand, the peace of mind I get from having my contents secure is well worth the trade off.
It just occurred to me, I wonder if a second set of hinges could be added to the tailskin to allow it to flip down and clear the...
I literally ordered this 4/22 at full price after seeing this product being talked about on the forum but missed this code. Diabolical, can you help me out? Order SLIP5354
Separately.. installed this on a soft top, ask me anything. First of all, before you go altering any hardware, note the...
Just want to check back in and say Alan really stands behind his products and answered several back and forth emails. He walked me through loosening the appropriate bolts to shift the whole unit just enough to get the tailgate to close. This also made that front drop down panel easier to secure...
I spent more hours than I care to admit installing mine today. When I put the tailskin in, I found the tailgate jams up nearest the hinge and won't close with the pins in the rear most holes. I already adjusted the tail skin vertically with no luck. The front fold down panel is also extremely...
This is the 4 door fixed lid cargo enclosure. I wanted a lifting lid enclosure but it wasn't available when the dealer put in my order, so I let them put the fixed lid on the build as an alternative. My build was pulled before I could change my mind and take it off, so I took delivery of the...
Speaking of trains, I got my railcar number from Ford chat and it was a TTGX prefix. It's Burlington Northern/Santa Fe per chat, and I can't figure out what number to call. I tried the one number in the tracker link with the same prefix and it couldn't find the info despite using the keypad. EDD...
I got my railcar info today and may be a total dummy. Where can I look up BNSF rail shipments? I seem to find information on every carrier but Burlington Northern/Santa Fe.
Edit- now that I re-read, the status is "In Transit Arrived Rail" would that mean it's waiting on the truck for the...
Interesting idea. I've seen carpeted enclosures mounted there but that's the first powered "under seat" sub I've seen mounted. Do you have a 2 or 4 door? Does it make a noticeable difference? I see that and would assume it rattles the tailgate to death but you must be happy with it?
Sorry if a bit off topic, did you modify anything else with ForScan? Did you have to use the "test" version floating around or did the last official build work ok? I'm nervous about using an unsigned .exe out of Russia on my brand new Bronco (whenever it shows up).
Jealous of all the baby pics. My shipped e-mail came 10 days ago and doesn't look like I'm getting one. Thanks for that tip on RBFCU auto loans. I had a 1.99 rate through PenFed but they went up during my wait on Ice Mountian.
Nevermind, appears RBFCU is pretty limited in who can join.
Got a shipped email at 2am this morning. My built email had already moved the tracker to shipped and my EDD is the same- between 4/21 - 4/27. Maybe it actually got on a train today, who knows. Ordertrack doesn't show any shipping details, seems to be a common theme for rail shipments.
Cross post from the Base thread. Getting close on my Bronco delivery now, need to make a final decision on tires. I have some BD takeoff wheels and I'm going back and forth between 255/75 r17 and 285/70 r17 tires. My 1st goal is increased ground clearance, second is stance, but I don't want to...
Ok, getting close on my Bronco delivery now, need to make a final decision on tires. I have some BD takeoff wheels and I'm going back and forth between 255/75 r17 and 285/70 r17 tires. My 1st goal is increased ground clearance, second is stance, but I don't want to compromise performance too...
