I've had mine exactly one year as of yesterday. No issues at all with the soft top. I love the convenience of being able to flip it back in a matter of seconds. Road noise is fairly loud at higher speeds but it doesn't really bother me, I just turn the stereo up.
To me the Bronco just feels like freedom. It wants to be let loose. Windows down, top down, cruisin. But not just the open air freedom, the freedom to go off the beaten path. This truck can go wherever you want it to go. Whenever I get behind the wheel I feel like I can go wherever I like...
Check out the thread I just posted for my build. Other than the sub upgrade it was just plug and play. The kick panel speakers require the metra harness and mounting bracket, but it is a simple install. The toughest part (for me) was taking off the plastic panels to get to those speakers...
From the minute I drove the Bronco off the lot I knew I had to upgrade the base sound system. It was just pure garbage. It took me a lot of time brainstorming and scouring these forums for the best budget conscious approach. Ultimately I decided to upgrade it in stages, by first replacing the...
That's a good point. I do plan on keeping the stock tires. It would be nice if I could find a max load rating for the tailgate. I mean they provide that for pickup tailgates, so I'm not sure why they wouldn't provide that for this type of tailgate.
So I'm debating on getting the Stinger offroad tailgate sub enclosure but the one thing that has me concerned is the extra load on the tailgate. My Bronco has SAS, so obviously the 35" spare tire, and I'm wondering if adding this sub box to the tailgate would overload it? According to their...
There is a tray that goes in the center console that is perfectly sized for sunglasses. Plus since it is not near the roof (like the overhead sunglass holder), my sunglasses never get burning hot.
This may be a dumb question but is remote start different from starting the truck with the Fordpass app? I'm pretty sure my basesquatch does not have remote start, but I can start it with Fordpass app. I would assume you could do that with a manual as well, but honestly don't know. Just a...
I just re-upholstered my basesquatch with leather and anticipated that it would be much hotter than the cloth, but in reality it is not. Just get a windshield sun visor and tint your side windows. Problem solved.
It's a good thing there is a backstory, otherwise I would just think you were color blind.
Pretty cool to have a matching set of old and new Bronco's though. Just need to finish off the roll bars.
Put in a new order for a Basesquatch. Much cheaper and you can do everything off-road that you can in a Badlands. You could always re-upholster down the line if you really wanted vinyl or leather. I am extremely satisfied with my Basesquatch and have been slowly customizing it to really make...
To my ear most of the sound that is heard while sitting in the driver seat is coming from the dash speakers. For that reason I would suggest 2-way coaxials in the dash and go with woofers in the kick panel if you don't want to double up on tweeters. I went with 2-ways in both the dash and the...
