Agree. Best looking one IMO, and can handle some weight, but it certainly has some drawbacks.

maybe someone on here who has experience lifting the bronco could answer. Other than the boots, that would have been an acceptable angle on the 4runner. I just don’t want to tell you it’s fine as I haven’t lifted my bronco.

It looks like the boot may eventually leak. See how the ribs of the boot look like they’re touching together. The friction will eventually tear the boot. In my old 4runner days, there were a couple options: stretch the boot out so it doesn’t rub replace the boot with a different design...

For me I guess the point is not spending $6k on a hard top, then another $500-$1500 on a roof rack to throw up a roof top tent. If I can get away with spending $1800 to reach my goals, I’m ok with the added inconvenience.

Anyone have this rack that can report back on wind noise, ease of installation, etc?

Fr My understanding is that it is the manufacturing tolerances, qc, and procedures that make for Toyotas reliability. I’ve had multiple Toyota trucks, with hundreds of thousands of miles, and the reliability thing is real. That said, I’m driving a bronco now. Thats all toyota had going for it...

I’d like this answered too. Before I purchase/ install some grab handles, I’d like to know if they will interfere with the airbag deployment.
