  1. Hard top hoist with 2 contact points (pics)

I believe there is enough room to dip them. Not a lot of the metal makes actual contact on the outer part of the top. Snapped a pic to show it.
  2. Hard top hoist with 2 contact points (pics)

I used a 24” piece of unistrut to mount the hoist. You might need a longer piece depending on the spacing of your joists. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Superstrut-2-ft-12-Gauge-Half-Slotted-Metal-Framing-Strut-Channel-Silver-Galvanized-ZA12HS2EG/205328679 This is the hoist. Partsam 440Lbs Lift...
  3. Hard top hoist with 2 contact points (pics)

You could do a square cage with 4 hooks to further distribute the weight. The cross bar to lift would still need to be in line with the rear slots as that is the center point.

  9. Hard top hoist with 2 contact points (pics)

That link is for the single straps . You could just order another single strap and then add a caribiner to attach the 2 O rings together. That’s what I ended up with as it was a little shorter than the below option. (24” strap length) They have a Y strap they sell and you could just cut off...
  10. PPF Questions - To or To Not Wrap Edges

I paid $3200 for xpel ultimate, did everything except the tailgate. Did not wrap all the edges for that price, used a small shop and paid cash. My Bronco is always parked in the garage , light off road use, kept clean and a weekend ride so I didn’t feel wrapping the edges was needed and I...

  12. Hardtop Rear Cab Weight?

It’s either 63 or 68 lbs. for the 4 door.
  13. Hard top hoist with 2 contact points (pics)

I just used some felt backed tape I got off Amazon. That strap would work, just have to come up with a way to attach it to your cross bar/wood. You could get a buckle to fold the raw end of the strap back over to create a loop. You could also just run some bolts with washers through the strap...
  14. Hard top hoist with 2 contact points (pics)

That would totally work as well and I had the same thought when working on putting it together. I actually swapped the straps to slightly shorter ones and picked up another 4-6” of height from the floor.
  15. Is $5k too much for a professional audio overhaul?

I’d spend the extra for the better speakers and JL sub. Question, how you do you run 6 speakers off a 5 channel amp? Are the fronts wired together? By removing the center channel speaker, does that affect any voice commands when using nav or the like?
