Does anyone know if the metal bash plate that comes with the modular bumper will fit with the standard bumper? I went from a Bronco with a modular bumper to one with the standard bumper and was surprised to see plastic under there.

Ordered on 8/17/21. Finally came in. Sadly, I said goodbye to the Area51 Sas’d OBX. Loved it while it lasted (5 months).

Doesn’t sound that bad actually. Have you had a different experience? I bought my Bronco from a. Dealer over an hour away…I might as well live in North Dakota.

The point would be that they would no longer be independent, so they wouldn’t turn you away. No Tesla service center turns away a Tesla owner because they didn’t sell them the vehicle because they (a) don’t sell vehicles and (b) are company owned.

Or they send someone to your house. Sounds great to me.

Mine sags somewhat, but isn't terrible. I thought about taping dowels to the other side where the straps are. They should have some sort of brace at those points.

No confirmation. It may have fixed itself or been a fluke. But didn’t operate all like they had the first time. The motor may not be but the drop detection algorithm could be. Or the resistance settings.

That’s the only thing I can think of. I never took it into the dealer. So either it fixed itself or Ford pushed something. It seems like an easy coding fix.

I’m two months into driving a OBX sas as a daily driver. I love it. It’s much louder and a totally different experience than my last car (Q7), but I knew that going in. I joke that driving a Bronco is a lifestyle.
