Here is a tip that comes from tekonsha's non plug/play converters... those instructions say unused inputs to the controller should be grounded, not left floating. (For two wire systems like these that don't use the brake wire). So I plan to ground my red wire to the box.
@VoltageDrop thanks...
I got the call from Granger tonight also... was at railyard since last Friday 12/3. The Basesquatch has landed... probably next Monday pickup... you know gotta go from Michigan to Iowa to pick up my Bronco that also went from Michigan to Iowa so I can bring it back from Iowa to Michigan lol...
Do that with the scope, I am very curious too... I agree it's weird!
Here's some help on the Molex pins. Paper clip basically and some long sharp needle nose... one video is the male pins and one is the female pins

I was a day after you blend 11/16 for Granger, mods popped early 11/17 after the first slowdown. Was in Blue Island for couple days and still saying Gibson now, so looks like I am caught in the holiday weekend and well behind you on the map. Hope for movement this week to meet up with yours!
From what I understand there needs to be a power wire run for the 7 way to run the controller and that should do it. Let us know! See link

Going to Granger Iowa...
I tracked the rail car and it said the cars load was delivered at Chicago today. Does that mean the rest of the way might be on a truck? That sound reasonable? How would I track it then?
