Thanks for link on Veteran's Advantage I'll check out. Would this add to Z plan discount?
This will certainly give away my age, but I was US Army 71-74 and I stilllove this country very much and would do it again.
Thanks.
So: Invoice -(2-3%) - holdback - advertising + destination. Correct?
Is there a $ limit dealer can charge on doc fee under a Z plan deal?
Do you happen to know how dealers are compensated and if Extended Service Contracts are invoice priced under plan? I believe in this product...
It's been a long time since I have owned a Ford (even though I was a factory rep for FoMoCo early in my automotive career and even though my dad retired from Ford ... all my family drive Ford under Dad's Z plan).
I am going to get a PIN for a Z Plan through Dad.
Can anyone specifically go...
I recently went to Land Rover dealer looking at a 110S with 6 cyl. You can spec them cheaper on-line than access at dealership. Only way is to order but will the dealer let you order from his maybe 2-5 per month allocation? It's tough as when you compare Bronco vs Defender specs it appears...
Every Jeep dealer I have been to that installed after-market leather used Katzskins. My installer charged me $350 for install. They look great. Price of Katzskins dependent upon how you spec and who you order from. Figure about $900-1400.
If all options available at initial spec that would save a lot of $ and truly be great. I have upgraded my Jeep way too much and it would have been cheaper, way cheaper, to just spend the $ upfront (if all combinations available). Besides, I've run out of room for all the OEM take offs I've...
Exactly. What I have really liked about Jeepers (and Forums) is the general acceptance of all. No matter product, mechanical ability, useage of vehicle etc. Generally, no prejudices, just help and support to anyone and everyone that asks. Taking cheap shots not needed.
You are right about tire size and fender flares. I reserved a Wildtrak, but the more I look at the larger fender flares the more I dislike them.
I currently own a 2 door JK with 285x70x17 KO2 with a Teraflex spring leveling kit and Falcon shocks. Stock tires on this model Jeep were 16x255...
That would remove the humor from an obviously smart and funny post. Sorry if my suggestion was out of line re: objective of survey as I didn't mean to inject any controversy or sidetrack it. My bad.
What was left out of Survey was income level!
I haven't bought a new car in years and by some statistical measures I may be able to afford car payments more than others (but do I want to?). Does income level affect auto vs stick or evenmodel choice? What about deciding during Covid?
I am...
True enough on the Auto requirement. If I stroke out on the way to the PNW I'd like my wife to be able to at least get vehicle to side of road while she waits for ambulance lol.
Also, as SoCal is nothing but traffic congestion you have to have great leg muscles to handle the non-stop shifting...
It's early AM here in SoCal and your post made me chuckle. A nice start to the day when all the days lately seem so un-humerous. I'll complete the survey!
Hello Granger Ford! I saw you liked my post about Dealership pricing on the Bronco so I checked out your Website. Kudos to you and the way you do business! Looks like you have many happy customers. If I end up getting frustrated here in So Cal with my selected dealership would you be interested?
Your note tells the sad truth.
Do business only with fair dealerships who price fairly. All businesses are in it for profit. ok. That's good it's called capitalism.
But, a customer feels ripped off when they suspect they paid more than they should have or even paid more than someone else...
Knowing about sound deadening would be great. I have a Jeep JK with an aftermarket hardtop that is fully carpet lined. This was big improvement over OEM soft top. But when I put roof rack on the wind noise inside of cab was almost as bad as soft top. I really learned my lesson here and will not...
