You probably won't have to worry about diminished value. The repair shop won't be able to get repair parts in a timely manner, so the insurance company will just total it. I kid...I hope.

Not doubting your story at all, but do have a question: If the Taco was stalking you and you were on a phone with 911 and heading to a police station, how did the Taco and you hit at a glancing head on blow? Wouldn't the Taco be behind you?

Maybe it was in the middle of a software update which is why it wouldn't shut off?

Thats what we did. We liked the Bronco better too.

It is entirely possible that something happened on Ford's side with the app and someone else's remote start command through their app went through to the OP's vehicle and started it. It's software. Software glitches all the time.

How has build quality been? Have you had any issues?
