I think one good question might be, who hasn’t broken that poor excuse for a latch in the rear storage area, seems to me like if it was lifted more than 3 times it’s going to fall apart.
that said, overall still very happy with fit and finish on just about everything else besides the soft top...
Anything new here? I spent the weekend driving around with the top in various states of up, down, with, without windows to try to figure out what's going on.
I was having some trouble with the accessory mount on the center channel. Can someone let me know what torx or torx+ size that screw is? is it really one of the ones that came with the truck and I just wasn't smart enough to get it to work? I tried a Torx 35 bit and that seemed to fit, but my...
Got mine from Koons Ford of Baltimore. Had a great buying experience, in and out in the least amount of time I've ever done buying a car. Great experience with Rob, my salesperson.
I was a late July reservation, but I did go with the soft top to get it sooner.
Anyone happen to have one of these that has a Bestop soft top for 4 door? I’m about at the end of my wits with the factory soft top and it’s clicks and clacks.
Has anyone just added polyfil and kilmat to the factory sub yet to see if that gives any improvement?
I'm replacing all of the 4 inch speakers, but don't have it in me to go the whole shebang with a new sub and amp.
Hi all, my soft top has been clicking while driving and I’ve heard it over my right shoulder. I eventually narrowed it down to the area right over the rear passenger side window and found a pice that feels loose (it’s the piece that’s circled in the photo with the spring attached to it). It...
Relaaaaax....we're professionals.
Is it just me or as you get older and start having your own kids has everyone else realized how much of a jerk Ferris really is. /endcurmudgeonrant
Not to say that there's not a way that you could make it work, but even if it would fit in the space I don't think it would be worth the effort required to install.. For one point it mounts on the 4 tie down spots in the cargo area, which are definitely in a different area on the 2 door (again...
Mine's not coming from the front, it's coming from the back, and to be completely honest might be from the raised lid cargo enclosure, but in the TSB....
TSB 22-2070 Details (dot.report)
it references the locator pins and also the "Header Seal" step 5. Anyone know where the Header seal is?
Anyone run into a bit of a rattle with this? If so what was your solution?
I've got this and the IAG ez-lift system, but I installed at different times and didn't notice the rattle until after this was installed, so I think it's the raised lid cargo system.
Hi all,
I just got my soft top Bronco last week and thus far I'm loving it. The only issue I'm running into is a whistle from the wind coming from the soft top at speeds over 55 MPH. I know that I signed up for more noise in general with the soft top, but I'm hearing a high pitched wind...
It's likely less an issue of the material of the windshield itself and more an issue of the angle (maybe lack thereof) of the windshield, it's a lot more straight up and down than most cars on the road (unsurprisingly similar to Jeep windshields) so anything that hits it is probably a lot more...
I suppose that brings about question 2, it seems like there's a camera at the top of the rear view mirror itself (there's a small oval that's a different shade than the rest of the mirror), anyone else know what that is?
Yep it was probably built with the Bronco in mind, but $500 is a tough pill to swallow when they've got those other ones with the screens for only $100 or so.
Right, but if I bought something like this..... Amazon.com: AUTO-VOX CS-2 Wireless Backup Camera Kit with Stable Digital Signal, 4.3'' Monitor & Rear View Camera for Car,Trucks,RV,Travel Trailer,Camper Van : Electronics and put the camera up into the spare tire, would I be able to use that as...
I think I've come to accept the fact that with the soft top all of the way down I'm not going to be able to see out of the back, but I've seen a couple of solutions like this one at Crutchfield... Brandmotion FVMR-1120 FullVUE™ replacement rear-view mirror/monitor with rear-view camera for...
