I was thinking the same thing, maybe it's just me, but these axle problems are just now spouting up recently when some of us have been wheeling our modified Broncos since mid or late '21 with no issues.
Big Steeda fan here, from my old Mustangs to my Bronco. Although I like the design of this, the proportions seem so off. In pics and video, the tube steel looks like a toothpick on a Bronco, such a small diameter in comparison to the vehicle. Maybe it's just because the side tubes are so thin...
All Broncos have the same airbag systems, regardless of trim.
Check my crash post if you want a first hand account on the safety.
My wife was hit very hard and it took the hit immensely well and did it's job protecting her as intended. I usually get bored of a vehicle and swap to something else...
Hey @BudgetBronco , How long has your wrap been on and how is it holding up? Thanks! Looking to my own soon since I've done some parts and hood wraps in the past. Just curious how yours is holding up since install. Thanks!
I like the look, but prefer the trim pieces black and keep the silver skid.
Nice find and thanks for trying it out for others interested in the same! ā
I can only speak to my experience, but honestly, my doors sound solid with a muffled thud like my old BMW's. The only way I've heard a tinny sound or rattle is if I closed a door very hard with the window rolled partially down to a specific spot.
But again, in normal use, my doors sounds very...
Ouch! We've removed the top a bunch, but I always double check to disconnect those before removal. Sounds like a wire (or a few) got pulled out of it's connection. It's possible to go through them one by one to check, but if you're not familiar with wiring, probably best to have the dealer or...
My insurance just spent over $21,000 to have my Bronco repaired. Took a bigger hit but bags didnāt deploy. See my post for accident details and helpful comments āļø

I'm not a huge fan of the looks of ring 3rd brake lights in general, but I would love to have a slightly better view from the back, so I may go this route soon, or just use some dual funtion Diode Dynamics lights for my 3rd.
Looks good ā
Depends on the design, some for cooling (if finned), some for style, some have easier (or harder) maintenance. This particular cover from ARB is mainly for the upgraded strength, which is great if it's bashed onto a rock while offroading, as well as magnetic plug to check for metal shaving for...
Here's a decent one, followed by a current one š„
Currently in the collision repair shop waiting on parts to finally get it back soon since an accident.
I think it looks great on the Raptor, matches existing lighting lines and style, definitely not a fan of the Bronco version. (no offense) Just my preference.
Agreed, I was thinking the same thing. Iām curious if the the HD steel bumper will be hard to get, so Iāll be talking to them about alternatives if the need arises.
Thanks!
****UPDATE****
Insurance will be spending $20,000 to repair my Bronco!
The good thing is, itās really just exterior parts, with new radiator and hoses to be done. So Iām genuinely happy to know Iāll be getting my Bronco back out on the road.
Now just the likely LONG wait for all the parts...
