the IPC, not the as built, plain English settings. There are a few items named chimes…… can’t remember what it’s called exactly but it’s obvious. Change setting from speakers only to instrument cluster only.
I know things are less accurate there but I tried it and it worked. Lots of stuff said...
if you increased the gain on the key, and/or made eq changes in forscan, than the chimes will be obnoxiously loud.
to fix this, I changed the chimes to only play through the instrument cluster (using forscan)

I measured the resistance at the amp front is 2 ohm, rear is 4 ohm. I'm going to wire in some load resistors to bump the fronts to 4 ohm and see what that does
Interesting theory. And it holds up, except my sound issue is different. Definitely clips or compresses earlier than I thought. Definitely due to ohms, and no power to battery.

I was able to change the chimes from speakers to instrument cluster Via Forscan. Not Im free to leave the flat EQ and properly adjust the amp gain (kicker key) without blowing out my ear drums with the chimes! only downside are the chimes are inaudible when music is playing loud. ill take it
