No. Ford stopped taking reservations last summer so all you will have is the order number. The only way you would have a 2022 build with a reservation number is if you had a 2021 reservation that was reordered as a 2022 model.

Agreed. Having crushed two deer in the past at highway speeds, I can tell you that's only going to be one more part to replace if it ever happens to you. Great for mounting lights and such but zilch for real world protection. Not trying to be a downer, just trying to set real world expectations.

For me it's always depended on the vehicle's "character". My '66 F100 with it's big block, flat OD paint, and manual everything is definitely masculine to me: It would make for a really ugly woman. My daughter's Fiat 500 named Sofie? Definitely NOT masculine. 😂

Which is exactly why I do as much of my own maintenance as possible and I still pre-fill horizontally mounted oil filters, just not filled to the top. I'd rather risk spilling a few drops of oil than scuffing bearings.

I don't think it's related unfortunately, I think mine updated a week or two after I put in my 2022 order. But... I dropped tow on my BD 2 door 12/2 and got scheduled 12/9 so depending on the rest of your build I would say there's hope.

Ahhh, for some reason I thought it was mounted vertically. Makes more sense now. The 2.5l motor in my son's Ranger mounts horizontally too but I still fill the filter about 3/4 of the way before installing it. If you're quick enough it won't make a mess. 😁

I just put these tires on my wife's C-Max and am very impressed so far. Stellar snow and ice traction plus they're quiet and drive like good all-seasons.

Cranking the engine after an oil change to build pressure is great, but not filling the filter with oil first seems like a terrible idea. Unless I'm missing something here, you're pumping air through the oil galleys until the filter media is saturated and the canister fills up. It seems like...

So I ordered a soft top BD, zero options, as a holdover until my 2 door BD reservation got built and turns out they both got scheduled for 2/7. I'm honestly thinking about keeping both at this point although I seriously don't need 2 new vehicles. Some might say I'm a scummy scumbag if I end up...

It's working again for me too. If only it showed when my second order was scheduled for production like the backdoor link does for my original reservation...oh well. :rolleyes:

I love where you're going with this. I feel like doing the mirror mounts and cowl vent body color and finishing the top, flares, and maybe even the bumpers in the same white would complete the retro look. Looks great as is though!
