You can also run a signal line to the pre-run 12v wires behind the glovebox if you want to use a low amperage aux switch to turn on/off the amp signal. I did this for redundancy (never want to find my battery dead because the amp failed to shut off).
I did an almost identical upgrade on my Bronco, can confirm this is a substantial improvement for little expense.
pre-Forscan changes the additional clarity is incredible. No need for bass blockers in the rear but 100% recommend for the dash.
The Forscan change livens up the sound quality...
Maybe im in the minority but I think if you're gonna splurge on one essential item recovery gear might be the one to do. I was stuck on the border of BC/Yukon in Canada, deep slushy snow with sloppy mud just underneath. The straps we used were all for towing, each broke. Got lucky by rigging the...
Someone said JBL Nano and I think what I purchased, Infinity BassLink Mini, is the exact same thing just repackaged. Its excellent for its size and improves the system ten fold.
I swapped the dash and rear 4" with Infinity Reference and they are superior in every degree to the stock paper...
Roamin through Richloam. Super enjoyable trails this time of year, not too wet at the moment but still had a fair amount of blackwater/mud/ruts to navigate. Really looking to formalize some events with the group at some point in the future, it would be nice for those moments of sketchiness.
I wasnt planning on it but decided last minute to scout Richloam while its dry. Its still muddy but there are a ton of good trails, Bronco performed flawless. My mistake the first time was staying on the east/southeast side and that is just GNARLY with little pay off. The NW section is great...
Its great. Most of it is wide, maintained, easy to navigate. some spots are tricky but you know in advance (using Gaia). I really like how most of it is N/S/E/W so you enter at the south and when you're ready to leave just follow a direction and you'll find an exit
Anyone up to wheel this weekend? I'm going somewhere, my mind is made up :)
Ocala / Citrus WMA / Richloam (not doing solo...) / Croom / etc. Doesnt matter to me just looking to get out and enjoy the weekend.
May need to drill/bore them out with a smaller drill bit, honestly. If anyone finds suitable replacements please post that here because these things are trashed instantly.
Killamat. Super easy to cut/install, put it everywhere in my BL and it makes a solid difference.

I like the big Patriot hardtop, some dont and thats fine but I agree with this opinion. I will say I recall seeing a post here at some point where Patriot estimated $4500-$5500 depending on options so sadly I dont think it will be much more affordable in the end.
I tested 00 and 01 on my 6 speaker base (infinity 4" in dash and rear, stock 6.5 kicks).
Both sound noticably improved. Its much less tinny and packs way more volume than normal. I stuck with 00 for now
