Glad other people are hearing the same and I am not crazy. Our Ford Explorer doesn’t do it. I agree that sounds like a relay switch mechanical sound. I was thinking it was the key fob too close and was going to test if it does it the next time I drive it.

I have a window sticker for my FE with blend date of 9/10 and build next week. Haven’t received an email…yet. Let’s hope this guy is wrong.

Sounds sketchy, but like others said their dealership name is on the sales order. Ford would probably make sure they are ethical and follow through with the terms. Ours was signed by the sales manager but they didn’t put up a fight about signing it.
