    I’ve never initiated brake maintenance mode when just removing the wheels And have never had a problem. Am I missing something?
  2. For those of you replacing rear coilovers what are you torquing them at.

    the lower bolt is 350 ft lbs. I torqued to 250 since that’s what my wrench maxes out at but then had my shop bring it to spec shortly afterward

    Could add a nut onto the bolt to secure the fit
  4. A little help with suspension install

    You don’t need to take off the lower control arms just remove the bolts and let it hang down. That will give you enough room to do what you need with the suspension install. Be sure to mark the bolt and nut positions so that you can get it as close to Alignment as possible before you drive it...

    lol. No trans skid plate yet (but plan to fabricate one shortly!). Thanks I crawled under today lifting both front wheels off the ground and felt looseness and a knock when I shook the axles so I’m thinking CV joint or wheel bearing. We find out at the dealer tomorrow

    Thanks for your insight! That’s what I am thinking As well. I did crawl under this afternoon and with wheels raised I felt looseness when I grabbed the axle and shook it. Strange thing is I don’t beat on the car and have done very few rocky trails 4 rated at most. Dealer has me coming in...

    I purchased these stands years ago and I’ve used them on a Honda pilot a Toyota Tacoma a Mazda CX five and now on my Bronco. Never had any concerns about their quality or stability. In fact, I’ve never really had any complaints about Harbor freight products, including their socket wrenches...
  12. Wanting brighter reverse lighting on my 24 Heritage.

    Harbor freight cube lights about $35 each last time I checked. They will work fine for many years (mine are over 18 years old)

    Couldn’t hurt. When my dealer tried to re solder it did not hold so ultimately replaced the glass

    I always give a quick flash of lights or a wave but rarely does anyone respond. People don’t seem to be into traditions any more 😣
  16. Console Insert

    i have one like that. It constantly falls into the console and spills all its contents. I eventually added some Velcro to keep it in place and that has helped.
  17. Seafoam / oil change

    I historically used motor flush on all my cars just before or as part of an oil change. My Tacoma has 330,000 miles on it and still running strong. Never had any issues although I have not yet tried it on my Bronco.

    I have Kenda Cleaver 35 x 10 1/2ā€œ tires on a 17 inch steel OEM rim. No clearance issues no rubbing, but I did remove the crash bars. THEY ARE EXCELLENT ON AND OFF ROAD so could be a good choice for you if you move to 17ā€ wheels
