Ok, after 3 weeks of going back and forth, I finally made a decision on wheels and tires. Here’s what I went with.
17x9, +12 offset black rhino rapids, wrapped in 34x10.5 Toyo at3’s. 1” leveling lift. The tires are about 33.5” and right around 33” mounted. What do y’all think?
I inquired about the SL load Baja bosses but people were saying they wouldn’t be strong enough. Maybe I’ll give them a shot after the tires I just ordered. I ended up going 34x10.5 Toyo at3 in D load. 55lbs each.
zero offset? That's a lot of poke. Looks good. I went with 17x9 +12 offset. Should have it install this weekend. Then I'll finally be able to contribute to this thread. How do you like those tires?
I’m guessing these are the +35 offset? Do you have any closer pics of the poke or lack there of? Or any additional photos in general? I’m thinking of putting these on my 2 door area51 but it’s so hard to find pics for visual aid. Thanks!
I have a 2 door black Diamond auto and have been getting 16-19mpg so far with stock 32’s. I’m debating 33 vs 34. If you’re getting 19 mpg with 33’s that’s pretty good.
You know, I keep going back and forth between 285/70/17 and 285/75/17. I know it’s not a huge difference but the irrational person inside me says if I get the smaller tires, I’ll always wonder about the larger ones. But every time I fill up gas, I say to myself, get the smaller tires 🤣
I'm considering the Black Rhino Rapid rotary forged wheels because they are really light weight. 23lbs for 17x9. Anyone have pics of these wheels on the Bronco? I'm considering the matte gun metal or matte bronze on Area 51 BD. Thanks!
How are you all liking your KO2’s? I haven’t owned a set in a long time. I recall they run a little smaller in circumference than most other brands.
For 285/70/17 I’m looking at ko2, ridge grapplers, open country AT3 all in C load. The AT3 is the only one I’ve never tried, so I’m leaning...
