Yeah it's a great concept for sure!
Thank you very much. I just got a pic sent from my dealer, and our '25 badlands is at the lot! Going to pick it up Saturday. My first ever brand new vehicle.
I would LOVE one of these! We get a short summer in Canada, so going topless as much as possible is my goal. Soft top didn't seem like the best idea with the amount of snow that can pile up on the roof, or with 40 below temps. Unfortunately I have a very small garage and nowhere to store the...
To clarify, I wasn't implying you were taken advantage of. More so the question of why did you want to swap broncos? From your original post it sounds like the only difference was in color, so did you not get the color you were hoping for the first time? Why not wait for a '25 if you're just...
The first part of this is a car-audio misnomer.
Bigger cone means higher sensitivity, when comparing apples to apples, or the same sub of different sizes. This means it requires less power for the same SPL.
It's all about execution, and sadly this doesn't look high end. It looks bare bones. Especially the dash. Hoping it looks better in person.
I absolutely agree with you about not wanting the color to be random, especially when it doesn't say anywhere what the accent color will be when you make...
Damn, I feel the opposite. My '25 badlands with MGV is coming in Azure Grey. I would way rather have the tan accents and stitched dash than absolutely zero accent color and the plain dash. That looks cheap, boring, and definitely not badlands worthy.
This is brilliant. Never thought of using EQ at the source. I feel like this, plus a speaker swap, and setting the FORSCAN EQ off (for non B&O) would make a world of a difference.
Interesting, because I just put an order in at the end of September for a '24 during an employee pricing event. Just got a call yesterday to confirm I now have a '25 order in, but they couldn't confirm price or what "program" I'd be on. Sounds like ford plans to jack up my price and interest rate...
Oh wow that is actually hilarious. They did say the 12 speaker system included upgrade speakers and subs as well.... A 10 inch sub maybe? Speakers with higher power handling? Probably not lol
Is that what the "extra" speakers in the '24 B&O system are lol? I'm sticking to the mid package and planning to upgrade the audio myself. With some learnings from your videos and posts as well btw :)
I'd probably put tweeters in the pods since they are more directional and would benefit most from being aimed directly at the headrests. Then you can go up to 4" for midranges in the dash.
Have you seen these before? Only fits a single driver up to 3.5 inches, so should work for most tweeters.

Fair enough. No reason that upgrading and testing new things can't be a fun process! It does seem like there is some pretty solid aftermarket support for Broncos in the audio department. Keep us updated as you keep going, especially of you rig up something unique.
