They are pretty durable and straight water with some Dawn would probably be safe. If you want to be extra cautious use rubbing alcohol or a can of sensor clean from an automatics store that is meant for electrical components. Looks like WD49 but specifically for sensitive electronics

It looks pretty small, they are waterproof but you still don’t want water constantly pushing through the gap. I’d try and reseat the sensor as it should shit completely flush. Clean the outside of the sensor thoroughly as well as the mounting hole before reinstalling.

I wondering if you can just use the existing bundle in the A pillar and route that to the after market fuse box after connecting it to the OEM uplifter switch retrofit part? Basically use all the existing aux wiring and not buy the new harness?
