So…..got the new windshield put in on New Year’s Eve. Went with the factory vs after market cause the trucks only a year and change old. The boss lady is NOT happy. Hit me with a “of course he bought a vehicle that’s gonna need a $500 (cost with insurance deductible) windshield every 18 months.”🙄🤣

🤣 just did a forum search and was looking at that as you posted 🤣. Come Monday I’m going to talk to an auto body shop near me that also does ceramic and PPF and see what the can do for me or if they’ll install the exoshield after I get the windshield replaced

I was going to wait until March to do mine, but the fact that it’s almost all the way across has hastened that decision. Going to go with a factory replacement and going to look into some sort of covering/coating on the new window. I’ll have to do a subject search on the form and deep dive on...

As far as my windshield, it just got worse. A day ago here in North Jersey it was 18° out. I had to take my wife to work and while I was driving west on route 80, she and I literally watched the crack extend to just about 8 inches shy of all the way across the windshield. The kicker is.. I just...
