Mine was stolen from the back of my Bronco. I'm rebuilding the kit using my own tools, but I can't get the door alignment pin.
Can someone provide me the dimensions for the door pin? If I can't find one, I might have someone make one up for me on a lathe.
Oddly enough, yeah. Mine was just stolen from the back of mine. Only thing they took. Left the jack and lug wrench. Doubt it was this guy though unless he drives 3 hours to western PA to find broncos to break into.
Sucks cause I'm leaving for vacation at the end of the week and I have to piece...
So I kinda hate that all I do is come on here and complain. Like I love this thing, it's fun to drive, It looks great, and it drives mostly great. I say mostly because I feel every little road imperfection and sometimes if there's a lot of them it can be pretty jarring. And in PA there is a lot...
I really do not like the way the weather techs look and that gap leaves so much space for mud and slush to fire right up to your door handles. I have mud flaps I just need to work up the bracket to attach them. Just haven't had any time.
So I played with my top a bit more. I got it to a point where it latches somewhat nicely and also no longer rattles. But I do gotta say it kinda sucks that it can easily make contact and scrap up brackets and paint. It is what it is, but it's clear that Ford cut quality corners in favor of cost...
To answer your question: No. Powder coating needs to be cured in an oven at 400°+ F. The plastic grille will melt or deform.
Damn that looks good. I might have to do the same but leave my letters white. I'll probably do Plastidip cause I'm too scared I'll eff it up. Lol.
I've used Chemical Guys Diablo wheel cleaner to good results, but any good brand should do. Chemical guys, Mother's, Black Magic. I never really liked Armor All stuff. It just never worked as well as others I've used.
I can't guarantee anything will get the mud stains out though. The dirt bike I...
So even if yours doesn't come with cup holders you can still hang a cup holder off the molle panel on the back of the seat. If not that then IAG is coming out with a cupholder that mounts to the back of the center console.
I was a early March build and my MGV interior doesn't have the cup holders so I guess we MGV folk just got the short end of the stick. Though I suppose we're not missing much because the cupholders are not all that great.
So after playing with
The thing that sucks the most about all of this is that even after your build is complete you still have to wait for them to ship it and you know Ford isn't going to prioritize shipping older chip hold builds.
My soft top was recently adjusted so that it actually latches at the middle like it should. There's a lot of play in the latch though and it doesn't put tension on the pin so it rattles now. The mechanism imo is just cheaply made. It really could have used a single or double rotary latch (like...
