Sidebar - Does the Fordpass app tracking rely on GPS or cell signal though? I seem to recall not being able to find my location when in an area with no cell signal.
Kenda Klever AT2. E-Load LTs Same size as yours. Work awesome everywhere I've gone (off-road, on-road, rain, snow). Pulled a 2" lag bolt from the right rear and didn't even need it patched. Would def buy again.
Cactus gray common? I live in So Cal and have seen 40-50 Broncos in the last year and have only seen a couple other CGs. A51, Carbon Gray much more common here. But I think I've seen every color there is. More than once.
1) The two-door model looks like a squished oddly-proportioned toy.
2) The swing-out tailgate and two-position strut are a nightmare to use day-to-day.
I have a 4dr Big Bend 2.3L/AT non-sas with the 4.27/rear locker. Standard package too. Pretty sure any trim above base has that option. Running 285/70-17 on the stock wheels. So far it's handled everything I've thrown at it, not missing SAS other than those occasional times when the auto 4x4...
I've had it for 8 months, 6600 miles and don't see any evidence of that. I would think the door would be difficult to close and show some paint scratches/rubbing off in the area. But I'll let the dealer have a look and report back.
Damn, I was afraid of that - a known issue but no good fix. I'll go ahead and schedule service for it I guess. I'm assuming they had to order the seal - how long did it take for them to get it?
4dr BB, 2.3L, AT, MIC top, 4.27/E-locker, 285/70R17 LT-AT Tires on Stock wheels (non-sas).
Avg about 18mpg mostly very short city trips in San Diego. WIll get 20-21 on the highway if I keep it under 65. 87 Octane only.
OK, I searched for this and didn't find anything significant - wondering if anyone else has experienced this.
I have a 2021, Big Bend, 4dr, MIC top, 2.3L, AT. Delivered Aug 2021, about 6600 miles now.
We had a few days of heavy rain in SoCal over the last few months.
Two times after heavy...
I'd buy one right now if they did this. It takes 2 min to pop the front panels off and stow them in the back, paying $900 to make that easier seems silly.
I think he is talking about the oval-shaped one above that (where I ran my ditch light switch wires). But looks like that's only available if you have an AT.
Did you have to take apart your mount base and add thread locker? I have the Tacform as well but it worked the base loose in one day. It's an easy fix though, pops right out of you remove the two T25 Torx screws. Also, the Tacform mount rattles a bit and I had to add a small piece of Gorilla...
Wow I wasn't expecting so much reaction to this post, thanks all I really appreciate all the feedback and comments.
One note, I was definitely not complaining about the fuel economy, just wanted to present the info since I was rather surprised at how much 5-10 mph affected the fuel economy at...
