Packed up the dogs, made the wife come, and off to Crater Lake. Haven’t been there in many years. It’s about 4.5 miles off the main road including a couple more on a gravel road. It’s definitely pretty remote, especially for New Jersey. Yes… non believers, this is New Jersey.
Long before my 6G Bronco we had a Bennett’s Wallaby. Long story how we got Sydney, but we raised her from a baby. Had her 12 years before she passed away. She actually came in the house every night and was house trained. Had many pets thru the years, which I think contributed to one of my...
I’m also up to three recalls. My concern is now getting the work done when the parts become available. Seems to me the dealers are going to be awfully busy. 2-3 hours for the fuel pump, 2-3 hours for the rear shocks, 1 hour for the camera. One tech, all day, one vehicle….. we’re going to...
Received mine yesterday. The recall has been in my FordPass however for a long time. I scheduled my 30,000 mile service thru FordPass with the dealer on Tuesday adding both recalls in the notes (rear camera, rear shocks). I will be curious to see if the dealer has any insights for the repair.
F150 Super Crew is definitely more useful and comfortable, but the Bronco is a hell of a lotta fun. So I need both. My F150 STX is a 2014 with a 5 liter with almost 200,000 miles. Will be replacing that in a year or two.
Better to have and not need, then to need and not have.
I also went to an Off-Roadeo. There was a loose rocky hill. With a front and rear locker engaged, no problem. With just a rear locker engaged, had to use a winch.
I by no means an expert, but it was impressive.
My 2 cents.
Put a $100.00 deposit on a 2 door base the day a reserve was offered.
Had to place 2 orders during the process to get what I ultimately wanted, despite the ability to get a 4 door soft top quickly. Finally received my New Bronco in August 2022.
2 door badlands, 2.7, Sasquatch...
Flag Holder. It seemed like a good idea. Anything above 35mph destroyed the flag. Plus, it hid the little bronco on the rear door. I still have it. Easy to install. If my 2 door bronco is ever in a parade I may install it again.
Stock photo. Exact bike tho. Had a 64 Nova that was my grandfathers. Straight 6 with three on the tree. Body was shot do to rust. But I wanted a bike. Rode for 45 years. Just gave it up due to a serious motorcycle accident.
