Hey- I hear that... I'm still hoping that mine was already built on 3/7 like the order tracker shows and they are just trying to turn this ship of disappointment around!
The actual build day is established only about a week before.... Sadly we are in "no new info-land" for at least a month... Unless they decide to bump us out again.
The Ranger is completely different as the flaps attach using screws and holes that hold the fender flare onto the Metal fenders.... There is no real hardware to speak of, just the flaps that are cut with tabs and holes... Will never work on the plastic fender flares the Broncos have as there is...
I have a set of these on my Ranger and seeing the hardware the Bronco set comes with after seeing the Lite-bright video I understand the price and think it is reasonable. This is a good company and after three New England winters, the flaps on my Ranger look great still!
This week will be an interesting tell tale to see what variety of Broncos get added to the build week that is for sure. With the chip/module shortages ours should be moved up and built sooner and this week should be filled with High and Lux package Broncos Instead.
Bummer! similar situation, we are going to Super Cell in TN this year and I was hoping that we could take the new one... Back when I was delusional and thought that it was going to be delivered before Christmas... You know built the week of 12/13, then arrive and take delivery 12/24- lol
PS...
So were you moved to 5/9 officially?
I think there are a lot of Manual Sasquatches with MIC that don't know they have been moved to this group and are finding out unfortunately when their build date comes and goes....
FWIW my order tracker still shows the 3/7 build week....
Is there a chance that the ICE mountain group would not be a part of this plan? Ford said those would be cleared within 90 days and I think they would have visibility of their supply chain enough to plan allocations and deliver on that.
Just thinking out loud here that this news may be more...
Looking back at the 3/7 build sheet and I see one Manual Sasquatch which happens to be a 4 door soft top with a build day this week...having 7MT MIC and Sas is probably a bridge too far- commodity-wise...three strikes you're out. Lets hope we stay here and they can finish and deliver the orders...
MAYBE... Being scheduled beyond the Production Week Scheduling chart is a "active holding area" If they receive a pop of transmissions for example they can pull those in to some degree. I work in commercial printing and we schedule the presses to print based on what is ready to print and if we...
