I have an aluminum bi-fold type and the 3-piece telescoping type at the link below. For stowing it away in the vehicle I prefer the telescoping style as it's considerably shorter once it's collapsed.

A few years ago we stayed here and were able to hit trail from the campground. Our gear was about 50 ft in length and there were no problems. Its about 4 miles from downtown.

I drove a month or two without the deflector and added it for chip protection. Definitely saw a reduction in bugs hitting the windshield after installation. It is attached with 3M tape, there is no way for it to cause scratches unless someone try to pry it off with tools.
That is odd. I never noticed but mine are the same. They did run the wiring for the electric parking brake along the axle housing not sure why they wouldn't do the same with the brake lines.
I'd also like to know the reasoning.

Mine has everything except the external keypad and headlock capable wheels. I have the keypad on my F350 and have never used it and I prefer a wheel other than what they offer.
Consider options that you cannot easily add on your won at a later date.

My other vehicle is a dual rear wheel F350. Maneuvering the BRaptor is much easier. At highway speeds the F350 is a little more stable but this is largely due to the longer wheelbase.
