Based on the modes in other vehicles I have driven in which "adjust shift points", I really don't think Baja mode is all that crazy. the ability to travel at high speed on sand relies on the suspension and 4hi. I honestly don't think there would be that much of a difference between a 2.3...

I totally feel you there - unfortunately at the moment the pet restraints and such that are official for the bronco seem to either be seatbuckle harnesses or that absolute dog-shit (pun intended) soft mesh barrier that goes between the front seats.

Def just grab a universal one from Amazon. That is what I use for my 4runner... Actually - even easier than that. Get a cage that mostly covers the gaps and then just zip tie it to the headrest posts. Works like a charm
