I have a Hooke Road half rack for sale. It is in perfect condition. You’ll read from some other posts on this site that there is quite a bit of wind noise that my kids couldn’t handle. I have seen others apply a rubber buffer to the front and it apparently solves the wind noise. I didn’t feel...
Is there anything wrong with it? Did you ever haul anything with it?
Would you take $500? If so, I’m in northern Virginia and can come get it this weekend.
I have the half rack and it made such a horrible noise, I took it off and tried to return it. No luck with that so it’s just sitting in my garage now. I imagine if you loaded a few things up there to break up the wind, it may cut down on it. It seriously was so bad, it hurt my kids ears...
Sorry to ask but do you happen to have a photo of the offset? I also have a Badlands on stock wheels and thinking about a change. I’m a little worried the +55 will be too tucked in. What are you thoughts?
I'm pretty sure this is a Chinese company with a US address. That I'm not so much worried about, it's just that I don't think I'll be seeing my money back. I'm going to work with them to see how this goes. They offered some money back so we'll see and I'll update the thread.
So Hooke isn’t making returns easy. While I don’t like Amazon, if I had ordered through there, I would be able to return it. Word to the wise…buy their products through Amazon.
