The GM is a duramax and the 3 liter diesel motor for Ford is nothing more than a filler to hit the increased CAFE numbers that all makers have to hit by the middle of the 20s. I like the motor and it is kind of nice to have an engine choice which is in the 100-150 grand Rover HSE models. Guess...
Why, the 3 liter Ford diesel is a proven Land Rover motor and has been around for decades just not here in the USA. It has 450 ft lbs of torque, returns 25 mpg in FX4 trim (highest of any 4x4 models), makes all its power under 1800 rpm and is a beast whether towing or just driving around town...
You have to have the right equipment to balance the tires and lucky for me I live in Arkansas. There is enough off road shops that can balance 40 inch tires if they had too. I bought the KO replacements after 60 thousand miles. They are not called KO Champion for nothing. Good years are terrible.
I once made some comments about ACT clutches online in a high HP Honda I owned ( I know oxymoron) but the President of the freaking company reached out to me for feedback. I have also beta tested products for Rally Armour for STI development. I guess being an enthusiast brings with it some perks.
Any really good dealer should be able to order what you want for their dealer stock. Now most will say that is not what we do or will want you to put up money down. I told subaru dealer what I wanted they ordered it as a dealer order I took delivery the day it came in.
You all do realize that the truck you are talking about is an Australian tuner market only vehicle and in no way means the USA will see such a vehicle. Ford is very popular in Australia and has been for a long time. They make Ford AUS domestic market Falcons still and have not used that name in...
My old 6.2 liter when I would stay in it's normal range would return 14 mpg, the big super duties with big blocks probably don't rate mpg as I believe certain size trucks are exempt. I know a few people with the v10s and they get like 8 mpgs if that. The large diesels are the ones that can...
@ChrispyKC should be selling below MSRP. The guy I know who bought the dealership has within a decade become the premium Ram dealer in my state and he from that success purchased a struggling Ford dealer in a nearby town.
I am in Arkansas and do not mind sharing the information once it gets...
I think you are wrong, this is not like the Toyota Supra, which I called about with a local dealer and was told they were selling it for 10 grand above invoice. There are dealers on Autotrader selling GTRs, Raptors, and even the new Supra for several thousands below MSRP. If you are willing to...
That dodge rebate is for real, 10 dollars a HP or a 707 HP Hellcat is a discount of over $7,000 dollars on top of the invoice price which most dealers will do now.
What? The prices you see on the Ford dealers website is suggest manufactures retail price it is not the price you pay, dealers set the prices and typically depending on the vehicles for F150s there is 20 percent in mark up so a 50 thousand dollar truck will sell for around 38-40 grand typically...
One thing you are over looking is that is MSRP does not include the 20-30 percent markup from invoice, any rebates, and dealer hold back that is built into the truck or suvs especially domestic ones.
The lariat ranger loaded up is 48k as I saw it sitting on dealership floor. I do not think ford would want to price this thing in line with their lariat and up f150s. That gets into premium suv truck categories and not the intended market for this. I imagine the 2.3 liter ford motor and a v6...
