Definitely different than my Tahoe with 4A. The Tahoe seems like the front only engages when slippage occurs. The Bronco seems to engage under moderate acceleration.
Thanks. It’s not bad but definitely not as nice as factory. Factory I could hit speed bumps without issue. Perch collar stiffens that up a lot. Under normal driving conditions on pavement, I don’t notice a huge difference.
I was under the assumption that in sport mode, 4A is engaged and on standby just in case you have slippage. I notice that my steering feels like it pulls under acceleration leading me to think that 4A activates 4wd under acceleration.
anyone know if this is true?
I purchased my Bronco through Wade since they mimicked the Xplan and gave me decent trade in value. The process was ok but I didn’t get any updates throughout process and had to poke them every so often for some info which they didn’t have much.
I want to add some decals such as a hockey stripe. My main concern is that in a few years it may look like crap. Then if I remove it, wouldn’t my paint look different than the surrounding Paint??
It definitely will put some more stress on the wheel bearings. Thats why I didn’t go with anything too extreme in hopes that I’m not putting as much stress. I guess time will tell.
Does any hear a lot of truck and Jeep owners replacing wheel bearings?
Just curious. There are a ton of...
I’m not sure if this is common but the factory tires seem to have a narrow tread of 9” and the rest of the width comes from the top sidewalk tread.
