Not a fan.
I love tots. Have you ever had Totchos? Those are the bestest.
Great info. This will indeed by my first 4wd vehicle so I do need to research and educate myself on those drive modes. As they're all foreign to me currently. No one else will drive this besides me so good in that...
Funny how that works, huh? Where do y'all race at? Maybe we've crossed paths unknowingly. I'm usually at New York Safety Track (NYST) or New Jersey Motorsports Park (NJMP).
Whatever you want it to be about. Thots?
The body roll is what I will be most concerned with I feel. From cornering to...
Is the Bronco considered mid-sized?
I was disappointed to know I'll only be towing the motorcycles to the track, not the GTI. Kind of a bummer I try to not think about.
Has built in Trail Maps, yea?!?!
I love this! Everything you wrote makes me think about my Ducati vs. my Triumph. I have...
YES! The GTI can do things the Bronco can't and it certainly goes the other way as well. You've got a lovely pair right there. Swapping the jeep for a bronco?
That was what my car looked like at its peak. Stock GTI's come with a 225/40-18 tire size. The tire size in the image above was a 245/35-19 which is comparable in sidewall thickness. It's now riding on a cushy 17" wheel setup with 265/40-17 tires.
I also bought this GTI to teach my wife to drive..!! She never showed interest other than a few days and just prefers I chauffeur her around everywhere (no issue here). So I kept the it and am now pushing 400hp/400tq at the wheels. Which bend easily on these NYC roads lol
Fingers crossed. You...
The GTI has full suspension work to it as well (shocks/struts, springs, sway bars, subframe braces, etc.) It's planted. Going to be interesting to feel body roll again.
It's the bridge expansion plates, the sunken down manhole covers, the raised man hole covers, the cobblestone roads...
Hey all. I've loved cars ever since I was a kid and have modified just about every one I've owned (sunfires, cobalts, gtis) and I also have owned and still own a couple of motorcycles. But I've never owned or really driven a SUV/Truck for longer than a few days my whole life. My wife and I live...
Don't understand why you wouldn't want weather proof interior for sand dunes. All that sand inside the car screams for it to be hosed out to me.
I'm in this same boat. Main reason for going w/ BD was the washout floors. Sounds like a small thing but that to me just sounds so much MORE amazing than carpeted flooring. But build and price will reveal all hopefully soon.
That's tough. I've seen VW of America cover a decent a mount of things post warranty, especially if they become "common place" failures/issues but are not yet recalled. Hope Ford would do the same.
I only do performance mods for the fuel efficiency gain ;)
