Installed RekGen front mudflaps today. With 37s, it just barely fits. We’ll see how well they hold up when off roading but at least I can minimize flinging all over Bronco sides.
But consider your taillights that stick out beyond the body, sacrificial elements to protect from more expensive body damage when this happens. This time you broke a light and it was an easy/quick fix. Next time with flush mount, you’re now into fender damage/repair…Just a thought
Well I’ve had mine on for a week now and have seen noticeable reduce bug impacts. Have not seen a single pebble come my way but as for bugs this thing seems to be helping. We’ll see as time goes on and bugs increase outside.
Well I decided to cancel my previous order of another aftermarket rear bumper for 2 reasons. Reason #1 the stack BADLANDS/SAS rear bumper is actually pretty nice and matches the ARB Summit I have very nicely. Reason #2 my hope is ARB decides to develop a rear bumper that matches the Summit...
Exhaust Decision:
Well after much contemplation, research, and sleeping on it, I pulled the trigger and ordered BORLA ATAK axle back exhaust in polished tips. I wanted the tips polished but did ask if they could paint the rest and the answer was no. I might paint myself in VHT Satin Black...
Been busy…
Got all JCR cargo floor, fridge slideout, mole panels, and cargo basket installed. Pretty happy with layout. Today I mounted my hi-lift jack to the lower 2 roll-cage beams. It blocks basket a little but not enough to worry me. Access from other side is doable as well. Pretty happy...
JCR cargo floor system and fridge slideout experience:
Ok…JCR needs to find a better method than those press in inserts cuz they fall out. Anyway, I got the floor base built and installed. Not too bad. Then was the flat panels that you mount something to. I had planned to mount the fridge...
After reading all the comments about B&O system I was skeptical and future planning to replace something but after owning for a couple weeks and rockin out in the Bronco, I’m pleasantly impressed. Wait till you get/experience it before committing to change. Yes some ears are fine tuned for...
Another step in the progress:
Mounted Trailgater today. Super nice table, great quality. Not so happy with the little plastic inserts you place in Bronco tailgate to accept mounting screws. While installing, one clip fell thru into tailgate cavity (lost forever). Luckily they provided a backup...
Yesterday/Today was JCR Tailgate Reinforcement Plate
Plate came assembled incorrectly with threaded inserts in the wrong locations and 1 fell out. I found this out when Bronco was already apart, so I slept on it (well minimal sleep) and came up w a plan. I did reach to JCR and tell them of this...
To be honest I never drove at night w Signature, so was only going by what a friend who has 2 Broncos said and after making the decision to change, I think the AlphaRex are AWESOME and worth every penny. Love the options and I chose Raptor look. NO regrets. I did sell the Signatures for $835
