No, we did not have a reservation date. We wanted to, but did not know if we wanted the 2-door or 4-door. We saw a Demo Wildtrak at the dealer and we were pretty much sold on the 4-door. We will see how this goes....
What I can not figure out is why Ford is not prioritizing the people who reserved, and then ordered them way back in 2020 and the early part of 2021. That just does not make any sense, which is why I was so shocked to get a phone call from the dealer with this news. It just seems very weird.
OK, this is very weird, and maybe someone can shed some light on the subject. The timeline just seems very fast to me.
