Probably the most useless gimmick ever put on a modern vehicle whether breaking in an engine or not. Depending on your driving conditions, it will actually use more gas instead of saving.
I have experienced the same symptoms as everyone is describing here. Not all the time but enough to notice. I assumed it was the driveshaft, but maybe not.
She is beautiful. We had a German Shepherd the same color. They said he was a "blue", but his coloring was similar to yours as he was almost solid dark grey. He weighed 120lbs. Sadly we lost him last summer. Your picture reminded me of him. Thanks for sharing.
Maybe, but ultimately I returned the spacers and went with O offset Icons with no rubbing issues. Did it cost more than I originally wanted to spend. Hell yes, but I am happy with the new wheels. I do understand though while some owners want to keep their factory wheels.
That may be true, but in my case when I went to mount the wheel it did not feel right, like the surface was not totally flat. Maybe their are slight variances in the length of wheel studs from Ford. Beyond my knowledge.
I had SAS wheels and the studs stuck out slightly with 1 inch spacers and I did not want to trim the wheel studs. You would not be able to mount your wheels to a flat surface without trimming the wheel studs as they stick out past the 1 inch spacers. They do make 1.2inch spacers which will work...
You will need about 1.2 inch spacers if you do not want to have to cut your wheel studs. At least that is what I found out. I ended up buying 0 offset wheels.
Bronc buster from extreme terrain makes a 1 1/2 inch lift that fits the hoss3.0 suspension. I have it on my 2 door wildtrack with 0 offset wheels from Icon and are running 37 x12.50 BFG with no rubbing. I honestly cannot tell any difference from the factory ride.
I have the RC one as well with a 37 inch tire. It has the 3rd brake light extender and spare tire relocation bracket. No rattles or squeaks. There are threads on here for longer bump stops for your tire on your tailgate.
I sold my 19 JLU wrangler and was lucky to pick up a 23 Wildtrack 2 door and love it. The ride is way superior to the 4 door jeep. I think as many will agree that the Bronco is one of the best looking vehicles that Ford has ever built. Get the highest gears you can get if you are even thinking...
The same thing happened to one of the service managers at my local Ford dealer who owns a Bronco. He was not sure what to due about it. I will inquire and see if he came up with a remedy.
Depending on who is re-building your transmission, many times it will be better than new. Years ago, I had a problem with my transmission on my F350 when it was fairly new. They could not figure out the problem, so they benched the trans and carefully rebuilt it. I never had a problem with it...
