Exactly my thoughts too. I had thought it very well might've been what I'd go with but it's way too dark to be a worthwhile color offering (basically just black with a blue tint) and I'm now seeing it actually looks kinda purple in certain lighting. I'm really hoping some more colors are...
Well I've long wanted green for the new Bronco but as a wise man once said, "that's not the green we're looking for..." Or something like that. I'd say it's just as likely a concept that has no bearing on production Broncos, as Ford seems keen to do.
Oh that is certainly true.
Something as simple as offering a paint option is hardly akin to "coach building" or require a large deal of effort by Ford. I'm certainly not interested in taking a paint roller to the top of my brand new vehicle lol
Exactly. Ridiculous that there are people actually arguing against an option just because they don't personally care for it. I personally wasn't butthurt over the Mansquatch issue but I sympathized with those that were.
Sure plenty can be done after purchase but if I'm paying good money for a...
I've said it before but not offering a no-brainer option like a white top for a vehicle that is borrowing heavily from the first gen Bronco is just bizarre. It'd also be a fantastic way to further differentiate from Jeep.
YES! A nice rich dark green with a white top and saddle brown interior is exactly what I want. That Ford didn't at least offer a dark green for a rugged, off-road vehicle like the Bronco is pretty absurd.
Yeah, AB has turned into a big disappointment for me. It's just black with a blue tint. I would really love to know what the thought processes were that went into choosing the color palette for the Bronco. The selection is honestly pretty terrible.
I honestly wish there was a blue that was somewhere between AMB and Velocity Blue. I'm disappointed to see that AMB is indeed so dark that it's practically black. Maybe it'll look better in person.
I'm not a fan of vinyl but regardless, I think it's ridiculous to have to go through the extra trouble and expense for something that should've been a no-brainer offering from the factory. With the retro vibe they decided to embrace, omitting a factory white top is a bizarre oversight.
I would agree. I hated them when I first saw them in the early leaks but I wondered if they'd grow on me. They still have not. They just look like they were tacked on at the last minute and don't jibe with the rest at all. Certainly a stylistic swing and a miss, as far as I'm concerned.
