Good post - but not only Broncos - relatively speaking, the Maverick is getting marked up. Extreme case -- but there is a guy on the maverick forum that paid 38K for a base XL model with msrp of 21K or so.
The situation won't change anytime soon... one article predicted that it will take 3-5...
A local dealer recently sent me a text on a '21 OBX with 9K miles. They want 70K. Here is their description (no pricing breakdown on their website).

Indeed. The OP should attend Off-Roadeo which will demonstrate a rear locker is very nice to have.
The other thing you could do for better traction is to get a manual sway bar disconnect, which is inexpensive and will help keep your wheels on the ground. Most of the time running around at...
I went to ORTX early this month and John, the lead guide, made the same comment on 6 vs 4 on brake torque.
This is not much of a thread contribution but I also asked him about manuals, like where are they? They had 50 bronco and bronco sports at ORTX, only one was manual and they did not use...
I was going to suggest to OP that he order a new Maverick to tide him over - oh! Those orders closed Jan 2022.
Did you get the poster? I went to Off-Roadeo last week to collect the rest of my 'freebies'. I gave the poster, flag and calendar to my grandson (who is a car nut) and the hammock to...
Great concise review! Just attended ORTX and I have a 2 dr BD being built, supposedly, next week so your timing is good and confirms my expectations of the BD.
Don't like the summit at al... changes the Bronco's classic look, and we're paying thru the nose for that classic look! haha Zenith is ok. Maybe I've gotten to used to the production model, rear bumper is terrible... and I usually like ARB stuff!
Good job on the write up! I attended ORTX on June 2nd and had a great time and learned a lot... there is much more tech to the Broncos than I imagined. I had some conversations with the guides about the operation and it is indeed not a Ford operation but a private for profit marketing company...
That sounds like a great solution Bronc-O - congrats on the new F-150 Tremor! A monster truck, and indeed, the right thing -- you don't want to fuck with MLB catchers! haha The Chihuahuas are the triple-A for the Padres - we just wish they'd leave the better players with us a little longer...
You ask which path would we take? For me, this would not even be a question - I'm 70 as well. You gave up your order, took back your deposit, knowing the dealer would sell it to someone else. All of the other issues; who got the order, parsing emails and dealer language, dealer thresh-holds...
Looks like I'm officially in 06/06 club!
Production date thru back door
VIN thru Ford chat
Received email from Ford a few hours ago confirming both.
7/15 res, 2dr BD, 2.3, mid, tow, mod b
Woot!
Thanks, I should have read your signature. lf you don't mind.. was the pay off letter done thru a credit union or Ford financing e.g. who sends the title? I assume you're in a big city in Tx, where Driveway would have reps.
I'm sure it is tied with your original order as that is what got you in Offroadeo to begin with. It's what they have on record -- but no harm asking Ford about it, that's where the refund comes from.
