The pinch welds also have sealer applied which is often a messy look. Plus once paint is applied it often doesn't look very attractive. Btw it's an industry standard practice. Go look at other brands and you might find similar results. People have got to remember these are mass produced vehicles!
Thank you FMC. I wanted to get photos out on the flight line but one aircraft was on a nose jack so it couldn't be moved. And since I only had the Bronco Wildtrak for a day a future shoot was also out. But there could always be a marketing opportunity, I just need a Ford Bronco to get it done.
It just so happens that my company has a great relationship with CalFire and a couple of there talented engine mechanics have helped get our Broncos back operational. Plus I also served with one of them back in the Marines. CalFire has 16 flying Bronco!
Yeah that's seem very odd. Seems like they are acting like it's a rental. My dealer filled out a loaner form and got my insurance and DL and they even gassed it up.
I got to demo my dealer Wildtrak yesterday and today just a bit over 24 hours.
I took it to work and all the guys really liked it and were very impressed, although most didn't like the Cyber Orange and asked me if mine was ordered in same color. No its not its a Lighting Blue FE.

I hope this statement is just
Incorrect language as dies are used for stamping body panel parts ie fenders, hoods etc. For composite parts it's forms or molds. The process of making our MIC hard top is essentially the same as making a fiberglass parts, but just a bit more complicated.
Too many armchair engineers here. I work in the aerospace industry and most everything is now CAD CAM and rapid prototype. I have to believe that Ford is the same way especially from all the leaked images we all have seen from years ago. Ie the front grill etc. So that being said the MIC top...
I don't get it, where do you nay sayers get off stating 6-8 month! It's 2 months, tops 3 months, for Badbatch. FE should be November or December for delivery.
Not only are there companies in the US that could make the tooling but if it is over seas they would air freight it to Michigan. Ford is going to make extreme efforts to right the ship.
Ok what is up with all the extended dates "December" come on man! FORD said late September, early October for the Badbatches, new production would be late October... ok maybe it's the experience with Ford over promising and under delivering, that I get!
Your FE might still be at 99 because of the MOD hard top. Mine was like that until I contacted my dealer and had them change to MIC top. It then immediately went to PC 19, now it's at PC 01. You must also get a copy of your build sheet.
So we all got Fords wonderful news today and their solution but I didn't see anything about the Sound Deadening Headliner which many owners are complaining is shedding, not glued down etc. Even TFL had a segment where they showed the liner just peeling off and claiming that it was very cheap...
