This is the best thread, I will not let it die!
Should we talk about pizza? I like hamburger and green peppers. Best ever, turned wife and friends on to it too!
I agree. I’m really hoping it’ll only tip the scales around 3500 lbs in that configuration. If it wasn’t for the government bloatware even less weight would be doable.
I think the thing will be physically capable of towing in the 8500 lb range based on size of the vehicle and engine power but marketing/product management will restrict it to sub Ranger capacity (which is 7500 lbs), my guess would be closer to 5k lbs, maybe 6k lbs.
I think this is a fair engine to use as a comparison. Fairly affordable and let’s face it, most people with an early Bronco would be looking at a similar option and not staying with the stock engine.
I’d be willing to bet there will be a stand alone locker or part of an FX4 package available like they do for the F150. But, yeah, I agree 2023 is pretty far out there.
Sure is, disc brakes enhance the safety and performance of the vehicle. Same with hard tops: reduced chance of skin cancer (safety) and a hard top only would be lighter than a convertible of sorts and therefore would offer better performance.
So, let’s say they finally reveal the 2021 Bronco someday and all the specs and pictures and all the details we’ve been waiting for. What’s your dealbreaker, the thing that they’ve done to it or the standard item that you can’t live with and will just walk away?
I’ll go first. If this thing...
