“Sending more to larger dealers just ensures they stay larger but maybe they should be forced to work harder” Except what @Ford Motor Company did wasn’t even that. There’s no real way reservations can be moved. So all it does is punish reservation holders and small dealers.

At this point, I don’t see any incentive from Ford to try hard to fill orders under the price promise. Inflation, labor and commodity costs mean these car generate less profit than newer orders. My guess is they continue to deprioritise and wait for people to bail (they already made it...
