    In regards to the sliders, I think that's a bad name. Because these parts, Will end up catching you on a rock, vs allowing you to slide over it. You can already see how much they were hitting things

    Conversely, I would challenge you to prove this statement. You simply need a GMRS license to use them on the GMRS channels and you can program them so they do not transmit on any channel you are not legally allowed to transmit as well as set the power level to remain within Compliance.
