For those who recently received their Broncos from the 8/30 build week, was their any obvious rework? I'd really like to know what the hold up is. Nothing should take 100 days to rework even with the current shortages.

Dont do it. I changed my order significantly to dodge these constraints and my Bronco has been "in production" for 96 days. Absolutely no reason I shouldn't have received it by now, but here I am with no clue when in '22 that I'll receive my '21 Bronco. Thanks for the advice @Ford Motor Company

Hah, if being pissed accelerated the process I would have had my Bronco months ago! Congrats!

Yeah, me too! I only changed because I received an email from Ford and my dealer saying I would receive my Bronco sooner if I switched. Clearly this is incorrect as I wont be received my 2021 Bronco until sometime in 2022. Excellent customer service!

Yep, day 94 with nothing. I am amazed that a company with as many resources as Ford cannot give their customers basic updates as to why they haven't received their Broncos. Especially ones with Day 1 reservations. I don't even know why I'm still waiting.

Dang so they actually told you when it would be going back down the line? I've been in some sort of QC hold since 9/3 and they will not tell me anything useful.

I'd love to know how many day 1 reservation holders there are who do not have a Bronco yet. And just for fun, a comparison to how many later reservation holders who have already received theirs.

I'm in a situation where my Bronco has been "in production" since 9/3 and I haven't heard a thing from Ford. I have no faith that I will receive this Bronco in 2021. So I would much rather have a 2022 given that people will more than likely begin receiving 22s before I get mine.

Yeah I really feel like additional compensation is due for this. They can throw in a hardtop once they figure out how to actually make them.

Most likely a sequencing issue from the supplier but Ford QC should have definitely caught this.

I have no faith that Ford will get these out by the end of the year. They are letting them sit while putting good parts on cars running down the line now, so why would they decide to fix them later? They could have fixed all of these at any given point but are choosing not to. Plus the holidays...

I'm still in the same boat. I would have never switched to a soft top if I would have known I wouldn't get it until 22 anyway. I only switched because I was told that was the only way I would get it in 21. Thanks @Ford Motor Company

It's an acoustic dampening mat. Keeps larger panels from vibrating. Could have been on the backside of the front fender if it came off the front.
