  1. New Seattle Owner Looking for Trails/Meetups

https://www.avants.com/events/2022/4-16/avants-off-road is one of them. I’m going to the morning session. The other event is a hang out and chat at a Seattle car club. I don’t have a link to that one but it’s at The Shop and atthe same time as the morning Avants session...

Alright. I'm in! I'm going to leave early enough to stay near there Friday night to head out with you on Saturday.
  4. Driving from Seattle and I want to visit Johnson Valley/Bronco Knoll

Yep. I've got a recovery strap, air down tools, and an ARB compressor. No traction boards or jack.
  5. Driving from Seattle and I want to visit Johnson Valley/Bronco Knoll

Hi! I'm headed to Palm Desert around 4/2-3 with the family. I plan to drive so that I can take my Bronco to the Bronco Knoll. Is anyone planning a trip? I found a thread, but I'm just going to miss it. I can be ready to go Sunday 4/3, but can't make Saturday. 1. Does anyone else want to go...

I’ll just miss this. I’m driving down from Seattle. Leaving 4/1 and probably wouldn’t make it until Sunday.

Nothing critical. Some stuff underneath but that’s well known. Needed to be broken in!

@SuzH sure. Just thinking of on the way. I thought 9? Looking forward to it!
  9. Do all bronco’s have this?

I discovered this on my high package Badlands, too. No keypad.

My compressor is in its box, I'm mounting it this weekend, so I'll have that, too. Sounds like my wife is out, and I'll do some scouting to see how this is compared to the last trail we tried.

What kind of gear & bags? I've got radios (except CB). I'd love to introduce my wife & daughters to this - and it's been a really long time since I've been offroading, Reiter once.
  13. GMRS Radio install? Antenna and mic location

@mtap had a good solution at https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/what-are-you-using-your-comms-radios-for-and-what-do-you-have-vhf-gmrs-frs-etc.34238/post-1141169 I have contacted a company local to me to see about having some laser cut & powder coated. If it works out, they could sell them...

I tried to update mine but I think it might have made a second entry.
  15. 2.7L blown engine failure list . . 68 so far [Updated: December 13, 2022]

I agree. I have a 2.7 with a date that's already had a failure. I've got just under 1800 miles on it and I'm planning a trip from Seattle to Palm Desert & Johnson Valley in April. If something happens, I'll deal with it, but I'm just going to keep driving it.
  16. Seattle area dealership Recommendations

I had a good experience with Autonation Bellevue. They weren't the most communicative during my wait, even the GM, but no problems when I took delivery. Might want to confirm MSRP with anyone you transfer it to. Last thing... not sure who is charging you a "small fee" to change. Ford doesn't...
  17. More OEM Splash Guard installed details

I was planning on modding the front and installing the rears on my BL. This is the first I’ve seen the rears not fitting correctly. If it looks wrong I’ll probably just cut the holes for the rock rails in the front and call it good.

Where was the trail near Joshua Tree? Do you have an onX link or something?

I’m taking mine down there in April! Hoping to visit Johnson Valley too.

@SuzH I had to miss this because my kids were sick. And a trip planned for Feb. Here’s hoping for March!
